The CEANS annual meeting was held at the Enterprise Center at Salem State College. Dan Hunter, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Advocates for the Arts, Sciences and Humanities (MAASH) and a leading advocate for the state's creative businesses and organizations shared his thought provoking comments.  CEANS President, Christine Sullivan reported on the state funding that is supporting a Market Study of the North Shore's Creative Economy along with additional funds for the Enterprise center.

May 8, 2007: Breakfast Roundtable: State legislators and representatives from the MA Office of Small Business and Health Care Connector joined us to discuss Health Care, Independent Contractors and Other challenges to doing business in the Creative Economy.

April 12 & April 13, 2007 Mr. Landry discussed his latest book, The Art of City-Making, and the importance of the creative economy to the North Shore's economic future.  Mr Landry also lead a dynamic discussion on Creativity Can be Learned.

March13 2007: Breakfast Roundtable: Topic: Guerilla Marketing  Presented by Peg Ryan, Manager of Special Programs for the Massachusetts Department of Workforce Development’s Division of Career Services.
